From Obedience & Overflow to No Excuses November

October stretched me in the best ways possible. It was the month of obedience and overflow, and I truly saw God move through that obedience. I fasted. I prayed. I showed up for my business even on the days when motivation was low. And through that, God opened new doors, new collaborations, and new opportunities I could’ve never orchestrated on my own.

But as October came to a close, something shifted. The last week of the month was full of celebration... my daughter’s second birthday, family visiting, and what felt like a week-long staycation. It was joy-filled and life-giving, but it also threw my rhythm off.

My structure, my discipline, my early mornings... all the spiritual muscles I’d been strengthening started to loosen a little. And honestly? I needed that.

Because I had hit a wall the week before. I was overworked, hyper-focused, and running on routine. Everything from my prayer time, my fasting rhythm, and my content creation had started to feel redundant. I wasn’t burned out, I was just ready for a reset.

That’s what last week was. A pause. A breath. A reminder that even obedience requires rest.

The Gentle Nudge to Begin Again

Now, as I sit here on this quiet Sunday evening, the first Sunday of November, God is nudging me again. The house is quiet. My best friend just headed home. The week of celebration is over.

Even though my body is tired, my spirit knows that it’s time to realign. This moment right here is the bridge between obedience and overflow and No Excuses November. Because the truth is...

Rest was never the problem. The problem is when rest turns into resistance. When we confuse being tired with being done.

God gave me three words for this month... Feel It. Face It. Flip It. And that’s exactly what I’m choosing to do as I step into November.

No Excuses November: Faith and Obedience in Entrepreneurship

Faith-inspired digital illustration featuring the motivational phrase “Feel It. Face It. Flip It.” with the scripture reference 2 Corinthians 10:5 displayed at the bottom. Designed in Divine Dream Creator brand colors — midnight navy, flame orange, soft gold, warm taupe, deep teal, and apricot tan — the artwork visually represents emotional awareness, spiritual renewal, and taking authority over thoughts through Christ, aligning with Kingdom entrepreneurship and faith-based mindset growth.

This isn’t about “pushing harder” or ignoring how we feel. It’s about recognizing that feelings are real, but they’re not the ruler.

When we’re tired, when we’re uncertain, when we feel behind... those emotions are valid. But we get to decide whether they become fuel or excuses.

  1. Feel it - don’t fake it.

  2. Face it - don’t run from it.

  3. Flip it - speak truth over it.

Instead of excusing the feelings, you can say...

  • “Lord, I’m tired but Your Word says You give strength to the weary.” (Isaiah 40:29)

  • “Lord, I feel behind but Your timing is perfect.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

  • “Lord, I feel unqualified but Your power is made perfect in my weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

That’s how you take every thought captive. That’s how you make it obedient to Christ.

Rest. Refocus. Realign.

If you’ve fallen out of rhythm, you’re not starting from scratch... you’re starting from surrender. This is the reset. Stillness isn’t slacking. It’s the space where God whispers, “I’m still here. Let’s begin again.”

So as you enter this month, remember that it’s not about perfection, it’s about presence. It’s not about performance, it’s about posture.

This is "No Excuses November." Not because we’re pushing ourselves harder, but because we’re letting God lead us deeper.

Prayer for Renewal + Realignment

Lord, thank You for reminding me that stillness is not failure, it’s formation. When I lose rhythm, help me find rest in You. When I feel weary, give me wisdom. When I’m tempted to make excuses, remind me of my authority in Christ. Teach me to feel what I feel, face what I fear, and flip every lie into faith. Let this month be marked by consistency, clarity, and courage. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Rooted Reminder

You don’t have to wait to feel ready. You just have to choose to be willing. No Excuses November isn’t about doing more... it’s about showing up with grace, gratitude, and God.

Feel it. Face it. Flip it. And watch God move through your yes.

From Marketing to Ministry: The Heart Behind Divine Dream Creator

ree

When I talk about No Excuses November, it’s not just a catchy theme. It’s personal. Because this journey of showing up when I don’t feel ready, of surrendering control, of building with both oil and excellence… it’s what birthed Divine Dream Creator.

I actually started out as Dream Creator Marketing - focused on design, branding, and business strategy. But over time, God made it clear that it was never just about marketing. It was about ministry.

He began to strip away the pressure, the perfectionism, and the performance - and invited me into partnership instead. That’s when the “Divine” was added.

Now, everything I create flows from alignment, not anxiety. Every brand I build, every client I serve, every reflection I write... it’s all rooted in obedience and guided by the Holy Spirit.

Because this isn’t just about helping people grow businesses. It’s about helping Kingdom builders birth God ideas. If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like to move from ambition to alignment, from striving to surrender... my story walks you through that full transformation.
