A reflection on my first podcast interview
When Obedience Matters More Than Perfection
Today I recorded my very first podcast interview as Divine Dream Creator with Biancca Briggs from Milky Ministries. And if I’m honest, I still have chills thinking about how the Holy Spirit led the entire conversation!
As a mom, entrepreneur, and believer, it’s easy to get caught up in the logistics like childcare, location, equipment, hair, nails... But God reminded me that what matters most isn’t having it all figured out. It’s being obedient.
The Spirit Speaks Through Our Willingness
In that interview, I gained so much wisdom from Biancca, and at the same time, I felt God using me as a vessel. He flowed through every word. It was a living example of what He told Moses in Exodus 4:12:
“Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”
I didn’t need to bring perfection to the table. I just needed to bring my “yes.”
A Reminder for the One Who Feels Unqualified
If you’ve ever felt like Moses, questioning your ability, doubting your readiness... let this be a reminder that God already knew your circumstances when He called you. He already factored in your motherhood, your time constraints, your imperfections.
You are uniquely equipped for this season, and for a reason.
Rooted Reflection on Bold Obedience
Bold obedience opens doors that perfection never will. My first podcast interview wasn’t about proving my expertise, it was about being willing to show up and let God be seen.
Ask Yourself:
Where might God be asking you to show up boldly, even when it doesn’t feel perfect?
Lord, thank You for using imperfect vessels like me. Teach me to obey quickly, to trust Your Spirit, and to walk boldly into the assignments You’ve already equipped me for.
Walk With Me in Real Time
I’m walking this out in real time - balancing motherhood, faith, and business with obedience at the center. If you’ve been craving a safe space to do the same, come join me inside the Divine Dream Creators IG Channel.
That’s where I share daily scriptures, prayers, and behind-the-scenes reflections as we build in alignment, not anxiety.
