Don’t Quit December: You’re Closer Than It Looks
December always brings pressure to rush or permission to quietly give up. But this month, I want to offer you something different. Something calmer. Something more aligned.
Don’t quit. Finish this year in faith, not a frenzy.
Because the obedience you’ve been sowing all year is producing more than your eyes can see. This is the month where your follow-through becomes your offering and your slow, steady consistency becomes worship.
A Personal Moment: What the Last Four Months Taught Me As a Business Coach
Before we go deeper, let me share something personal. For the past four months, I’ve posted every single day without missing one. And somewhere between the days I felt inspired and the days I felt empty, God started doing some deep work inside of me.
I showed up:
when creativity was flowing
when it wasn’t
when I felt confident
when I doubted everything
when I had energy
and when all I had was obedience
And in that daily yes, I began to see the beauty of discipline. Not in the performance. Not in the results. But in the internal transformation. These last four months stretched me. They required me to release comparison. To stop measuring myself by numbers. To stop obsessing over timelines. To trust God more than my own expectations.
And then one day, it clicked:
I’m not just creating content, God is creating me.
He’s building:
a disciplined woman
a woman of follow-through
a woman who can be trusted by herself and by God
a woman strengthened by obedience, not motivated by applause
a woman who stands on her Father’s business, not the business of the world
a woman who says yes even when she’s scared
a woman who shows up even when she’s tired
Not perfectly. But faithfully. And that is the heart behind Don’t Quit December.
How God Has Been Preparing Us (Without Us Realizing)
October taught us that obedience unlocks overflow. November taught us to feel it, face it, and flip it... taking every thought captive and making it obedient to Christ.
And now "Don’t Quit December" ties it all together. This month is about endurance, but not the hustle-heavy kind. The Spirit-led kind. The kind rooted in trust, maturity, and deeper alignment with God's plans for our lives.
When You’ve Been Obedient… and Still Don’t See Fruit
Let’s be honest... You can obey God. You can show up. You can pray, pivot, fast, sow, post, stretch, and build… and STILL feel like nothing is “taking off” yet.
But here’s the truth:
Delay is not denial. Slowness is not punishment. Silence is not abandonment.
Some of the biggest miracles God performs aren’t happening around you, they’re happening inside you.
your discipline
your boundaries
your clarity
your emotional maturity
your consistency
your healing
your rest
your obedience becoming instinctive instead of reactive
That is fruit. That is growth. That is answered prayer in seed form.
You are becoming the person who can carry the weight of what you’re praying for.
A Revelation From Jeremiah 29: Plans (with an S)
Last month in service, my pastor, Jerome Lewis at Seeds of Greatness Bible Church, said something that shifted my entire perspective. When God speaks in Jeremiah 29:11, He does NOT say:
“For I know the plan I have for you…”
He says: “For I know the plans I have for you…” Plans. With an S.
That means God doesn’t have just one path for your life. He has multiple plans… multiple stages… multiple phases… multiple assignments. Each one strategically preparing you for the promise. So you might not be standing in the “finished picture” God showed you, but you might be standing inside of one of God’s plans right now.
My pastor said it like this:
God may have shown you the vision, but it takes multiple plans to prepare you for it.
And everything changes when you realize that you’re not waiting for God’s plan to begin. You’re living inside one of His plans right NOW. A plan that is growing you, stretching you, and forming you for the next one.
You are not behind. You are not off track. You are not overlooked. You are being strategically developed. And this is why Don’t Quit December is so important. The worst thing you can do is quit while God is preparing you for the next stage of His plan.
Your Assignment This Month
Not perfection. Not pressure. Presence. This month, your offering is obedience in the small things:
follow through on what God already told you to do
honor your ideas with consistency
steward your time and energy wisely
create from alignment, not anxiety
trust God more than your timeline
rest before you rush
worship before you worry
This is how you finish in faith, not frenzy. This is how you honor the plan you’re in…
while God prepares you for the plans that are still unfolding.
A Prayer for Don’t Quit December
Lord, thank You that Your plans for me. Not just one, but multiple plans that are good. Help me stay planted in the season You’ve assigned me. Remind me that delay is not denial and that I am being formed for the future You’ve prepared. Strengthen my consistency. Deepen my clarity. Expand my endurance. Teach me to finish this year with faith, focus, and peace. I trust You with every step of this plan and every step of the next. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If This Reflection Spoke to You… Your Next Step Is Obedience
One thing God continues to teach me is that clarity rarely comes before obedience. Clarity follows obedience. So if Don’t Quit December stirred something in you... if you’re ready to move differently… if you’re done building alone or guessing your next step…
Then this is your moment to choose the call that matches your current season:
For you if you feel God is shifting something in you, but you’re unsure where to start. This call brings peace, direction, and clarity.
For you if you have ideas, but don’t know which one God is highlighting. We filter, clarify, and create a simple 1–3 step action plan.
For you if you know exactly what God is calling you to build and you’re ready to align the branding, message, structure, and strategy behind it.
These calls aren’t about pressure. They’re about positioning. They help you discern your season so you can take aligned steps instead of overwhelmed ones. This is your invitation to finish the year with:
obedience
alignment
discernment
strategy
peace
Start with the step in front of you. Simple obedience is still obedience. And that’s where God meets you. Click here to choose the call that fits your current season, and let’s walk this out together.
Don’t quit. Don’t shrink. You’re closer than it looks!
